My handle is ={OGC}=Quik_Draw...I am new to BF2, our clan just now getting set to deploy a public, dedicated recruiting server and a private training server in this domain...We are however NOT new to online gaming, making this expansion from our normal realm of Star Wars Battlefront, where we have been very successful and are a recognized member of that community...
I have been recently taken on by the GWL (Global WarFighter) league as the Battlefield 2 Game Manager...They (we) are interested in setting up a new expansion module which is to include forums, Rosters, and the ladder systems themselves. We want to begin clan competition for Battlefield. Since I am not a veteran of this game, outside some activity on the servers recently, having just got the game a month ago...I would like some feedback from veteran clans of this realm regarding the types of ladder setups that would make this new venture interesting and exciting enough that you would want to participate. I have questions about the following topics:
Platforms: PC, PS2, Xbox, X360
Play type and size (ie. CTF 5v5)
Map availability per platform/expansion (BF2, BF2:SF, BF2:MC)
Map selections based on play type (CTF, Conquest, Sniper, Elimination)
Ladder challenge options (ie. # of maps played, Pick/Random map/side, is tie breaker used)
Any specific settings and rules that should be addressed by platform or ladder specific.
Any information regarding these specifics that the clans would be willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it...Thank you for your time and asistance with this request...Please post any input as replies to this thread...
